To fly this small turboprop airplane in the longer flights from Venezuela to Curacao, and then the short 10-15' hop to Bonaire was not such a good idea! We got a couple of nasty air pockets on the way...
Fortunately, on the return, a different plane, altough much older...
We flew them again, on our filming trip in 1998, but the Dash8 were already getting old, and smelling terribly of dirty socks...
Finally, ALM, in part belonging to KLM stopped flying...
