Subject: Another who, who. Spanish Camp

Here's another who's who:
Labor Day weekend Sept. 1957. A crowd sits by my bungalow to watch the softball game behind home plate. I know three for sure. On the bottom Diana Diaz during her toenails. On the right washout section is Herman with the cap. The guy over the picket fence against my bungalow is my late cousin John Quinones checking his light meter.

Well, it's Tata (I apologize to her family if I don't have it spelled correctly) Burga on the extreme photo left back row and it's Gabriel (Jr.) Cordova's wife wearing glasses in the front row with the girl bending her head down in front of her. Peter, are you sure that's Diana Diaz in front of Gabe's wife? It doesn't look like her to me. Billy, is that your sister?

That's Tata.
She & my grandmother, Maria Marino, were very close, as were their husbands.
My grandfather was Antonio Marino & Tata's husband was Burga.
My mother is Rafaela, known as Rafie. Her sisters were Alicia & Esther.
We all lived in bungalow #26.

I don't remember the Serrano bungalow next to ours. I only recall your bungalow at the start of the woods. But I do remember your parents' faces so clearly!

Yes, that is "Tata" Burga at the extreme left of the photo, Herman Burgos to the extreme right, and I believe the thin woman with the short hair and sunglasses, in the back center of photo, was Lillian Mora. Not positive about this, but hers was the first name that popped into my head when viewing the photo.
