Yet Life Grows

Some unusual patterns in the rocks at Thingvellir National Park, Iceland.
Somehow the pretty purple flowers found a way to grow.
Sorry I don't know the name of these flowers.

There's doubtless a story in those rocks. I wonder what it is. The flowers are pretty.

Wonderful shot to illustrate your point. Amazing how life can grow in the hardiest of areas. "V"

tough terrain indeed for even hardy flowers...love the cool ooze patterns of the lava rock, all glints and grykes..

Great texture in this fine capture, and amazing that the flowers are able to thrive in the volcanic rock. V.

Pretty flowers adorning very cool rock formations. Igneous, I would imagine.
