Young Robin

This youngster was brought into the veterinary hospital where I work after a client took it out of her cat's mouth.
It was just starting to get it's feathers and could not take care of itself.
One of the girls from work took it home and hand feed it until it was able to fly.
Even after it could fly he hung around for quite a while.
It would fly down and sit on my friends shoulder when she went outside in the morning.
He was smart enough to stay a little higher when I brought the dogs over for a playdate with her new Great Dane puppy!

Excellent detail and color, and how nice that she nursed it back to health. Touching to hear the robin would sit on her shoulder, too. V.

Good sharp image Jane. Nice that it survived and good on your co-worker to take care of it.
