Creeping Snowberry, Symphocarpus mollis

Symphoricarpos mollis, aka "Creeping Snowberry."

Very common in all our woodland areas; usually prefers shade but at Henry Coe
and a few other places it grows in open sunlight. Produces round white
berries in the fall, sometimes in abundance (Foothill Park, Palo Alto).

Sympho = bearing together (Greek)
carpus = fruit (Greek)
mollis = softly hairy (Latin)
