Butterfly Bush, Buddleja davidii

Orange Eye, Buddleja (or Buddleia) davidii; also called Butterfly Bush or
Summer Lilac is a shrub in the Scrophulariaceae family. It is native to
northwestern China and Japan. It is widely used as an ornamental plant.

This plant can be invasive in many countries, including England, and it
is classified as a noxious weed by the states of Oregon and Washington.

Butterfly Bush is naturalized in most cities of central and southern
Europe, where it can spread on wastelands and in gardens. It is
appreciated for its value as food for many species of butterflies.
