Thanks Brenda. I used the Sigma 135-400 at 400mm. I find a long close focus lens far better than a macro lens for these type of shoots as you can stand off a bit. I was about 2 meters away.

Such a fabulous macro! The traceries of the wings and the sharp focus on the tail are both very striking. Then there are those gigantic eyes! I'm curious as to the lens you used. Remarkable shot. Brenda
