Just to the left of these islands is an active submarine volcano on the Caribbean Sea
floor 8 km north of the island of Grenada and about 8 km west of Ronde Island in
the Grenadines. Known as Kick-'em-Jenny, the volcano rises 1,300 meters
(4,300 feet) above the sea floor on the steep inner western
slope of the Lesser Antilles ridge.
