.. even carries its own "disco ball" on its back (behind the rotor mast)... unfortunately the U.S. Army is using yesterdays technology/tactics to fight on today's battlefield. To be fair, the Army adapted and the Apache is still the 'dealer of death' as far as any enemy tank is concerned.. the problem is that without enemy tanks, wheeled vehicles and radar/missile sites to "hunt", the Apache's mission is virtually taken away. Still, when you're flying a "scout" helicopter, few things make you feel as good as having a gunship like the Apache off in the distance somewhere constantly watching your back. I like how this shot shows off the Apache's aggressive profile.
