Sunset An Teallach Ridge

An Teallach, Dundonnell, Scotland.

This exquisite red glow generated by the setting sun on the summit ridge of An Teallach spawned several shots with slightly different viewpoints after looking through all of them I have decided that this is my favourite as it incorporates the view of the little sapphire loch at the base of the ridge and your eyes are held in the centre where they bridge the gap between the jutting rock glowing like a hot coal in the foreground and the similarly coloured wedge illuminated on the mountains behind.

you always pick the perfect time for your pictures. The late afternoon Sun/Sun sets are beautiful and you capture their beauty.
