On the wall, it says "Daw Thin Thin made a charity to this wall". Very nice pictures and thank you for the comment that you wrote for Burma. I heard that your group really like Burma. Glad to hear that and if you plan to go there next time, I suggest you go to "Bagan" where they have old Pagodas. I love your work.
Once again, you and your friend Aloha shoot the same subjects and come away with entirely different interpretations. Your image is warm and endearing. You stress the writing on the wall and the depth of color in the children and their clothing. One of them makes eye contact with us, creating a bond between subject and viewer. Aloha (http://www.pbase.com/aloha_lavina/image/77387362 ) has desaturated her version of it to give the image an "old" feeling, stressed the body language of the children instead of the writing on the wall, and eliminated eye contact with the viewer. In your image we are participants, in her image we become observers. Each tells its story eloquently.
