My Name is Jeoffry Sale Maulupe Kelepi Moeakiola. My Fathers name is Kelepi Maulupe Sale Moeakiola. His Father was Sale Moeakiola married to Tupou Moeakiola. The Moeakiola name is very rich with history in the Villiage of Holonga(Tongatapu). I have met family i didnt even know i had when i visited in early Jan 07 with Kelepi Maulupe. He was showing me alot of the history and telling me stories when he was growing up. We visited the Burial grounds where our family is buried, which is behind my Uncles houses, next to the beach. For any Moeakiola out there, get out there and get back to your roots, i no i did and i dont regret it one bit. I am currently living in Melbourne with my partner. Kelepi Maulupe and Elina Afu Moeakiola(parents) are still living in Auckland, NZ. Thanks for reading this is just something from me.

Ofa lahi atu,

Jeoffry Sale Maulupe Kelepi Edward Kienga Moeakiola III

Hello, my father is from Holonga and the last name is Moeakiola. Holonga is a great place to go to and I love going back to tonga. It is good to learn about your family and who your related to. My grand father Sale Moeakiola and his brother Sione Langi migrated to Holonga from Pe'a. They both own part of the land there.

There are also two Villages called Holonga, one in Tongatapu Island, (where this monument is on,) and one in the Vava'u Islands. I am referring to the Village on the main Island (Tongatapu).

Hi there, supposedly one of the oldest surviving person still living in Holonga at this time that I know off is an old woman in her 90's. She still travels abit though between her children who now reside elsewhere.
