Long-tailed Blue has a wingspan of 30 to 36 mm.
This species can be found in Europe (including Canary Islands) and India.
It lives in vegetable gardens and meadows.
Long-tailed Blue is migratory, wintering in southern Europe. It has very fast flight.
It breeds on leguminous plants, including peas.
They feed frequently on flowers, mainly those on which they breed.
They are widespread throughout Europe.
