The structure left of center is a fire box, and the four nearly-square formations nearest the bench
were the bases upon which rested the four great masonry pillars that supported the enormous roof.
The longer rectangular boxes (seen here with the piller supports) are generally considered to have been foot drums or resonators.
They were covered by planks on which cermonial participants stood to tap a rhythm.
