A blanket of cloud almost to the horizon with just a letterbox sized strip to let the sun through. I thought the light might be spectacular on the buttes but it just blew me away and exceeded all my expectations.

Contax ST ,80-200mm zoom,Fujichrome Velvia
F8 at 1/30 sec polariser and 0.45ND grad full exif
