Excellant macro RK, I agree the eyes have it! Yvonne

I like the composition of this one a lot RK. Maybe you already changed the brighter areas some have seen, as I don't find anything too distracting although maybe a mid-tone burn of just the front left leg would draw more attention to the eyes that you have captured so well. Good job.

Great - like all of your fly macros. -Gerald

It only needs the tiniest of change to reduce the strength of that particular streak.

Thanks Paul. See what you mean...will try to subdue the bright streak created by the flash (with my limited PS skills).

This is a great macro but .. and i hate to add a but, i find that really bright streak of light that runs from the front of the flys legs diagonally off to the left a real distraction and whenever i want to look closer at the deatil of the flys eyes and mouth this sorbet green streak pulls my eyes away. Lord knows how you could tone it down without buggering up the photo but maybe there's a way.

RK - you are doing wonders with this cam and lens (not that I know much about lenses) but if I did I'd want one :) awesome. jano
