Morning Pages
Morning pages are my almost daily scratch pad;
three pages of longhand scribbled into a journal.

I picked up the idea from the book, "The Artist Way" by Julia Cameron.
Cameron calls the pages 'daily morning meanderings'.
She says they are NOT meant to be art.
"Nothing is too pretty, too silly, too stupid, or too weird to be included", she writes.
No one is ever allowed to read my morning pages,
so it is rare that I hold back anything that I'm conscious of.
When I do them, which SHOULD be every day, the pages normally clear my mind.
They often set an agenda for the day, the week or, in some cases, for months ahead.
My biggest challenge is doing the pages before I log-on to PBase.

A nice comfortable portrait. I have a feeling that even if you were not at home you would still look at home. V.

Great idea. I think everyone should keep a journal. To me there is something about writing with a pen as opposed to typing on a computer that gets the creative juices flowing. Super SP. You look very thoughtful here and it must be working because your expression of ideas is superb.l

LOL at Ed...

I love the idea of morning pages, which I read about years ago. Just never developed the discipline to do it! Hope the hand's feeling better every day!

Ed needs a good kick in the

So if you write in your journal while you're on the boat could it still be a ship's journal?? Terrfic SP Dave, and I too admire your tenacity.
