I really like the composition and the black background works very well. I might apply a healing brush or clone some of the more prominent (maybe a half dozen) spots on the petals.
For me, the DOF works well on the petals, but I wish a bit more of the middle were in focus - maybe half again as much? That would get a bit tricky.

Lovely image Georg. Nicely composed and the repetition of the petals and the elements of the central part of the flower work well for the theme. I'm undecided about the DOF, but they do help to focus attention on the right part of the image rather than leaving my eyes wandering too much. Very pleasing.
