Spent the first day of our long weekend trip driving to the south entrance of Yosemite National
Park. After getting our campsite for the night, we took a little walk along the South Fork of the
Merced River. Here is Wawona Dome from our little hike. We found a mass of Lady Bugs just awakening
from their hibernation along the river. After dinner we attended a campfire meeting which was hosted by a park ranger discussing the history of the bears in the park.
