Foxtail are the bane of all hikers but they can be an amazingly pretty grass when lit by the sun. I use the three foxtails on the right and the shrubbery (nooo.... not a ... SHRUBBERY!!!) on the left to draw you into the back image. This is a two image stitch with the 45mm TS/E lens.

THIS IS AN AMAZING LENS!!! If you shoot Canon and landscapes, this and the 90mm MUST be the next two lenses you buy. The whole concept of near infinate DOF is simply liberating
