Owens Valley and the White Mountains (v.2)

The horizon dips slightly from left to right due to a tilt in the mountain range and the massive volcanic table land. The White Mountains have a pre-Cambrian root; the lava and pyroclastic tuff is 750,000 years old. The Owens River is along the edge of the volcanics and the town of Bishop, California is a few miles to the right of the scene.
