I finally went to the zoo with my digital camera. The animals are kind of boring caged or behind fences and moats and such. The smarter ones like the gorillas often turn their back on you. This silverback decided to pose nicely for a change. Tough lighting as he was in the shadows on a bright day.

Excellent work Mark. These guys are hard to both get and to photograph. Come on out here sometime, and we'll do the Wild Animal Park with huge enclosures!
