This is the entrance to Portmeirion, the Italianate village in North Wales designed by the architect Clough Williams-Ellis (1883 1978).

Pretty shot! A coincidence, too. I just ordered a gift for my sister from Portmeirion dishware. I didn't know it was the name of a village.
