I've loved Lightnings since I was a little lad, *sigh*, so I'm pleased to see this.
I agree with Ed, though, that it needs some brightening to add some visual impact.
I don't know if you have a workflow sorted, but I'm finding a saturation boost, then levels (not just RGB, but all the individual channels too), then coarse USM is making some amazing differences to some of my images lately. Phil

with the blur of the tree on the left, it makes the plane look more like it's hovering than flying (i.e tree is moving faster than the plane.) cool -Byron

Great shot of this airplane. (*) Consider increasing the overall brightness of the image (even if you blow out a few highlights on the plane) - and maybe try cloning out the wires in the sky? -Ed Hahn
