I like this reworked one - has a tasty roasted colour, and it's sharpened up well.

Thankfully, I have a bag of their tasty relatives. These are something new for me called "fried peanuts". I picked them up at a local restaurant. They have a sweet flavor and no salt.
The kindest thing you could have done to this family would have been to give them a decent burial in your stomach. I'm sorry it didn't work out that way.
PS The sharpness on this shot is somewhat deceiving. The nuts on the right actually were oily and smooth (apparently twins don't run in this family) which give an allusion of missing detail.

Well, I did a silly thing. I took one shot and bumped the setup and knocked the poor guys all over the room so this was it, no second chance but thought it was worth posting. The family is now somewhere in the garbage but we have this photo to remember them by ;^)
The focus is problematic here. I can't tell what you focused on. The left nut is pretty much in focus but nothing else. Without any exif info, I can't tell what settings were used, but the blurring of the background above the nuts indicates a very shallow dof.
