25-Mauna Kea Observatory

The blemish on this image is almost like a photographic miracle of a kind: How this
"ghost image" became created on one side of the photograph only? I still do not get it...

The ghosting, more than likely, is a reflection from one of the acrylic panes in the double-structured plane window. Interesting and beautiful shot... a fully snow-capped Mauna Kea seems few and far between, anymore.

Probably because you hit one side of the camera and it pivoted up. The opposite side was acting like the center and didnt get as much relative motion. That would be my quess. Nice pic of Mauna Kea. We used to ski up there when I was in High School at Parker School in Waimea HI.
