Near our picnic lunch spot on Day 2, at Chalets de Mirage.

After a bit of an ascent to the top of Col de Tricot and long descent to Chalets de Miage.

Wildflowers with a view of Dômes de Miage.

There was a refuge nearby for cold drinks.

After lunch, it would start to rain during our next steep ascent then a long downhill to our next night of lodging at Les Contamines-Montjoie.
