May of the rural areas of Vancouver Island have an abundant amount of deer. In the early summer the
does bring their fawns out to forage along roads and around the housing areas. Many signs go up
warning drivers to watch out for the deer and fawns and this is one of the best we've seen! We
glimpsed it as we were driving by, turned around and went back to get the shot. We just couldn't
resist it.
