'Historic Storm'

Winnipeg, MB

Well for Winnipeg, it really wasn't historic, about 35 cm in the city. Other areas around ranged from 13 to 80 cm though; just depended upon which band you were in.
But for this poor Junco, teased with spring a few days earlier, did all it could to shelter in my mock orange shrub.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Winter has had it's sharp claws imbedded down here too, not as intense as for you though.
A great shot of this Junco fluffed up to keep warm.

So you felt the force of the storm, if not the full force... but 35mm is nothing to sneeze at, for you or the junco. Hope that is the last of it for this winter. V

Poor little bird, must have been quite a shock.

that was a big hit, and conditions certainly show on the puffed up junco...and engaging image seeing this local suffering..
