Feeding Parakeets

Hyde Park, London

These parakeets are not native to the UK but there is now a large population in London, presumably after pet birds escaped or were released by owners.
Now these wild parakeets are used to people and will even fly down to take food offered to them.
But this parakeet had trouble distinguishing my thumb from a peanut. Ouch...
