The first 35mm camera I owned. Built by Zeiss-Ikon in Stuttgart, Germany in the 50s and 60s. This was the first model built (about 1953). I purchased this one in 1954 or 55 in Munich, Germany and used it for many years. Several other models followed. German engineered, built like a tank and weighed just as much as one. I think you could pound nails with it. It had a split viewfinder for easy focus. This had a 2.8 46mm lens. The lens beside it is a 1.7 teleconverter attached by a bracket that fit on the camera. I used it mostly with Kodachrome film (ISO 64) to produce slides and later with Kodacolor. I cannot remember when I finally moved on but I loved this camera.
