Today we remember the men and women who have fought in overseas conflicts.
I reflect on my father and his two brothers and my uncles who fought in the Pacific, of my father's best friend who died in the Middle East.

The Ode
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
