Waxwing Invasion

A flock of Cedar Waxwings were at the apple blossoms today. Our apple blossoms are usually gone by Memorial Day but not this year - they just got started this past week and we are still waiting for the lilacs to bloom.

Yes things are definitely slow this year. We were just up north last weekend and were surprised that the azaleas weren't even open. Love these beautiful birds and I have never seen one in person! So pretty with the blossoms.
