Wow there are a lot of different weavers in Africa and for many of them the differences seem fairly subtle. This Baglafecht Weaver was the first species we encountered on our trip to Ethiopia this past August and I thought it was a pretty neat looking bird even if it took me a while to figure out how to spell its name. Thankfully for me these weavers weren’t at all shy so I was able to get some nice photos of them.
