Discussion on Lake Beira

A Muscovy duck and a domestic duck in discussion on Lake Beira.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Quite a stand off. V

They do seem to be in serious talks concerning some matter. Judging from the domestic's obdurate body language I'd say they are at an impasse.

Ducks - true survivors of the bird kingdom- always love to watch their interactions.(everyday on the lake I see from the window above my work desk).

:) Funny title and caption, Helen. The Muscovy ducks are a problem here, as they have successfully pushed out the wild ducks. They are bigger and breed twice a year, unlike wild ducks which only have one clutch. Our City animal control has to round them up and euthanize them now and then because there will be 40 of them on one little pond. V
