This church appeared briefly in the gallery from the previous evening; specifically image 015970. Here we see it in very different light, from a very different angle. I'll pilfer the caption from the earlier shot:
"... the church of Santa Maria del Rosario, better known as I Gesuati. (Note: GesuAti, not GesuIti, the better known Jesuit order.) The Gesuati was a minor order which existed between the 1300s and the mid-1600s when the Pope disbanded it. When that happened the Franciscans bought the land on which the church that we see here sits, though the older name has stuck.
The current church was constructed between 1725 and 1755."
From this angle you can see more clearly (MORE clearly, not clearly when reduced for publishing on the Web) the four statues on the front of it. Clockwise from the top left:
Prudence;
Fortitude;
Temperance; and
Justice.
