Beth had not realized that when Giulio announced that the Fiorentini-Maybeck partnership
had secured the feature article in the Architectural Monthly that her work would be displayed
on the cover for all to see. He had selected an image in which the art of the interior
designer would be paramount, and his efforts had paid off. Even Gerardo was highly pleased.
So pleased that he reminded Beth that she and Giulio might enjoy spending a relaxing week
in his vacation home on a tiny volcanic island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.
Beth was pleased to accept and even Giulio found it difficult to decline.
