Most of my Chihuahuas over the years (until Bella) have had almost no interest in toys.
Tiny homebred "Desi" was the exception.
The electronic mouse in the photo was actually a cat toy. When activated, it would zip around the floor for a kitty to chase. After briefly trying to chase it down, Desi decided that it was actually more practical for him to grab the mouse by the tail to stop it in its tracks. Then, he could flip it over (so it couldn't get away) and then casually chew on the rubber tail. Once the tail had finally been destroyed, he no longer had any interest in this toy. He went back to his rubber shoe that he played with for a lifetime.
