We were attending a wedding for my brother in Las Vegas and decided to try to find a place to grab a bite for dinner. We were by Fremont Street and came across The Main Street Hotel and Casino, which advertised their 777 Brewery Pub. We checked the menu and the food variety and prices looked decent, so we sat down. They had a Reuben on the menu, so I knew what I was having for dinner…. The $10.99 sandwich included fries, dill pickle slices and some pepperoncinis. I apologize for the picture not being one of my finest, but the lighting was not great and my LG2’s camera can only do so much. On to the Rueben…. There was a fair amount tender corned beef between the marble rye bread. While there was some small amount of fat in some of the corned beef, it must have been very tender as I did not notice it while eating. 777 makes their own dressing, and it was good but they could have put just a little bit more on it. The same could be said of the Swiss cheese. The rye-bread was just right- the top pieces anyway. The bottom pieces of rye-bread were soggy, which made for a bit messier of an eat, and IMHO, took way from the Reuben just a little bit. But overall, I liked the sandwich and enjoyed eating the pepperoncinis at the end. I would give it a B- and recommend it if you are in the area.
