Traveller, I have been using the micro four thirds system since 2012, but I have gradually acquired better gear and sold off the older items. I now have the EM1 Mk 2, 300 mm f4 prime, 40 - 150 f2.8 zoom, 12-40 f2.8 zoom and a cheap Samyang 8 mm fisheye that is manual focus (which doesn't matter with such a short focal length). I also have a 1.4x converter that fits the 300mm and the 40-150.
It's a small sensor system with a 2x crop factor, so the 300 f4 has the reach and brightness of a 600 f4 on full frame. It also has spectacularly effective stabilisation. These are all pretty expensive items (except the fisheye), but I can carry a lot of photographic firepower in a relatively small and light package. The lenses are all very sharp and weather proof. Regards Michael
I need a long lens....certainly before I head up to Yellowstone in August....Ken, I love what you do with your cameras...(you certainly seem to have a nice and wide ranging collection).
