Purple Reine, purple Reine.. This glorious and rapidly vanishing light is that which I captured around 11.30pm from a small jetty in Reine harbour. It was stunningly beautiful and Velvia film has emphasised the blue cast already present in its own delightful way imposing its palette on the transparency in a very pleasing way. The exposure time is less than you might think at around 30 seconds and f/8. I do relatively few dark shots but this one appeals to me.
