From Passo di Dona we switchbacked down to Val di Dona with its green pastures and small log cabins. From the valley we had a view of Mazzin, our destination way down below in Val di Fassa. We stayed on n.580 all the way down and there were some steep sections through the gullies, but overall the hike was uneventful.
