Our clematis are just beginning to flower. This one is called
"H.F. Young" and is a replacement to a beautiful deep blue that died.
It grows in a shady spot & shares an archway with the rose called "Renee" and is actually
in flower before "Renee" has begun to bloom. I hope this one
survives. We can have extreme weather during summer with temperatures
often 40dC and above. Last year the high temps lasted for 10 days
in a row - very hard on garden plants & humans...
