Guadalupe (Cáceres)

view map

The first news we have of this little town dates of 1340, when Alfonso XI granted land to settlers who had been installed next to the chapel; this initial population group probably was not very important. Seven years later, another document, "Puebla del lugar de Santa María de Guadalupe", mentions the town, and a year later the king granted the prior of the Sanctuary the Lordship of Puebla, a condition under which it will be until 1820, at which time was formed the Constitutional Hall in Guadalupe.

Very nice with the curve of the buildings and the shadows on the street. Great visual.

I really like how you frame your images. Great detail on the bricks.

A neat row of houses along the curved road, nicely framed by the arch. V

Jolie composition avec comme point principal la rue est ses maisons. C'est ravissant.
