The Jökulsá á Brú, Jökulsá á Dal or just Jokla as many people call it, is the longest river in Eastern Iceland.
It had its source in Brúarjökull, the largest glacier tongue of Vatnajökull.
In its journey to the sea, the river has dug several canyons.
