In just a few minutes the sun will rise, and the sky will turn from pink to blue.
When looking at this picture, you might get the impression that the camera i skew, as almost all the trees are leaning to the left (south here). But (as always) the camera is leveled
using the level gauge, so the trees are actually all leaning. The reason for that is that in the cold northern highlands, the south side of the trees, facing the sun, grows more, longer
and thicker branches, as they get more light and warmth on that side. Hence the trees will also carry more snow on their south side. In this case, the snowy windy weather that brought
the snow clinging to the trees blew in from the south as well, causing that side to catch way more snow than the rest of the tree. In the end, due to all that side-heavy weight,
the trees lean to the south, giving the impression that the horizon i skew. Even more so in a picture like this, that shows just a small section of the horizon.
