Poor Misty

Today we brought Misty to the vet. The ultrasound revealed that she has a huge tumor in her abdomen and numerous tumors growing in her urinary bladder taking up the whole cavity of her bladder.
The vet said if we observe that Misty is suffering a lot, it's time to let Misty go.
But Misty wants to live. We will keep her as long as possible without letting her suffer too much.
Misty will be 14 years old on July 13.

Simon, I am so sorry to hear about Misty. Did your veterinarian suggest Peroxicam? It can slow down the growth of certain types of bladder tumors. Just a thought.

Such sweet eyes. I hope that Misty knows how much she is loved by you and your family; it is obvious that she brings you great joy and happiness.
Wishing her a Happy Birthday tomorrow! :)

Sad to hear about Misty's deteriorating condition Simon. We went through a similar experience with our 13 year old dog some years ago. After we let her go, I sat and cried in the car for a while.

That's very sad. The only thing you can do is spend as much time with her as you possibly can.
