This sort of business would never once have been visible in the High Street. The once bright, colourful
arcades, linking the main street with parking areas, are almost completely empty of shops. We see
banks, real estate agencies, a few bedraggled old fashioned looking coffee shops, charity stores,
temporary bargain warehouses, tattoo parlours, seedy employment agencies, lawyers, the TAB and a
lot of pawn shop style money lenders. Things look dirty, jury rigged and unloved. The few up-tempo
retail businesses show "sales" and "closing down" signs. Let's get out of here.
