Thank you to Sean Gallagan, principal of George T. Baker Aviation School, for providing this photo and for his agreement and cooperation to accept and complete this worthy project of restoring an old Nike Hercules air defense missile so that it can be on display to the public at the former Nike Hercules missile site in Everglades National Park. The missile was obtained by my friend Charles Carter, who served at a few of the Nike Hercules bases in Dade County in the early to mid 1960's, from the Army Depot in Anniston, Alabama. Charles also arranged a reunion of all the former Army missilemen in Miami on October 20, 2012 and the dedication of the Nike Hercules at the former Nike site in Everglades National Park on October 21, 2012.
