My dear friend, Joy, passed away this morning, unexpectedly. Too young to go but God had a plan. Sometimes we just don't know what that plan is until later. This sunrise is affirmation to me that she is in a better place. However, she'll be missed by her family and friends tremendously. We were very close and had many long talks about life. She was like a daughter but also a good friend to me. She was just the sweetest thing and was there for me when I was sick. I loved her and she'll live in my heart until I see her again. I'm saying a lot of prayers for her family as they are really hurting right now.

Joy will live on in a way as she has donated her organs to those in need. That's the kind of heart she had. Full of love and always thinking of others. I will miss her terribly. My heart is heavy and sad but I know I'll see her again.

This sunrise is for you, Joy. May you dance in Heaven until we meet again. I know Sadie probably greeted you at the gate. She loved you and loved it when you housesat for me and took care of her and Zeke. Rest in Peace, my sweet friend. I love you now and forever.
